The key to the success of the Foundation is the strength of our volunteers, and each year hundreds of people from Europe, Canada, the United States, and Costa Rica join our team. Individual volunteers and volunteer groups are placed with homestay families and provided with the cultural orientation, training, and logistical support they need to complete service projects of their own design.  Volunteers develop their Spanish language skills and learn to work effectively in a new cultural setting to provide concrete solutions to real problems.
