From little babies to abuelas, this week was full of healing and connection in La Carpio. ❤️In addition to treating nearly 100 people at our Montessori Center, Dr. Joe also had the opportunity to serve alongside the officers at the La Carpio police station. It was inspiring to see these new recruits experience relief from their aches and pains— even the captain joined in!One thing that stands out is their commitment to serving the community with a positive presence and a strong understanding of how to de-escalate crises with care and respect. It’s always meaningful to connect, hear their stories, and learn about the paths that brought them here. We’re grateful to be able to support everyone in our community— from the youngest babies to the beloved abuelas. Healing belongs to everyone. 🙌#CostaRicaHumanitarianFoundation #LaCarpio #CommunityCare #HealingHands #ServingTogether ... See MoreSee Less

With the heavy rains starting again, we would like to remind all our dear friends we are still working on helping relocate 10 families from near the river area. Please consider donating to this important project. Contact us via WhatsApp +506 88375205 or email fundacionhumanitariacr@gmail.com This project is very near to Gail’s heart and we would greatly appreciate your support. Each home costs $6,000 (current exchange rate) and we have raised almost enough for four so far. www.facebook.com/share/v/1MWjSKRP39/ ... See MoreSee Less
